The JMVB Board in Naivasha for a consultative feedback retreat with members from the Media fraternity and various NGO’s and CBO’s.

The vetting of Judges and Magistrates Board was from the 24th- 27th of February engaged in a consultative feedback retreat with members from the Media fraternity and various NGO’s and CBO’s. The Chairman of the Board welcomed participants to the retreat and thanked them for honouring the invitation and also for the collaboration and partnership that the Board has had with them in the process of fulfilling its mandate.

The Board is in the process of winding up its activities and the three day retreat gave the Board the opportunity to give feedback on the work it has done so far, some of the challenges it has gone through and the lessons learnt. The participants from the various institutions also gave their contributions in terms of recommendations and way forward to the Board. Most of the issues highlighted by the various organizations will be included in the Final Report of the Board to be released before the Board winds up its activities.
